$Extract v1.0 by FroggieDaFrog
Description:
Extracts .zip files without the use of dlls. Returns 1 for success, 0 if not. Can specify a destination folder, and has option to open destination folder after extraction.

Submitted Review Author's Updates
This script will let you extract a specified .zip file to a specified directory.

It works well and I could see this being used in scripts which support modules/plugins/themes/etc.

One minor suggestion I have which would make the script better would be to support relative paths, i.e. $Extract(test.zip,test) would extract "test.zip" in the mIRC directory to mIRC directorytest. At the moment the above would return an error.

Nice work Froggie.

Does this can work for .rar files?

yes, you can become a Microsoft employee and add native RAR support to Windows

I do believe I stated in the script that it extracts .zip files, not ".zip, and .rar, and .7zp", but incase I didn't make it clear, I will now. This script uses window's internal .zip archive support, so it only supports .zip (I think, if I added to the file check, I could get it to unpack .cab files aswell)

Working, but why if i use $extract($mircdirdownloads $+ myfile.zip) and the myfile.zip has a folder and inside the folder have some files then the alias creates an extra folder inside the currently extracted folder.

e.g:

myfile.zip = MYFOLDER -> MYFILES

when using the alias is

downloads -> MYFOLDER -> MYFOLDER -> MYFILES
(the second MYFOLDER created with the alias)

and an second problem is when the extract folder if exist then an windows ask for override can you add an option to override if already exist?
